Anne Miskey

Anne Miskey is the Chief Executive Officer of Union Station Homeless Services (Union Station), serving Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley (SGV). Union Station is the largest agency working to end homelessness in SGV and focuses on strategic, innovative, and effective solutions to ending homelessness for individuals and families. She previously worked as the Chief Executive Officer of the Downtown Women’s Center, based in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. While there she focused on creating long term, positive change for women experiencing poverty, violence and homelessness.

Prior to moving to California, she was the first executive director of Funders Together to End Homelessness, a national membership organization for funders focused on best practices to end homelessness. During her time there she grew the organization into a thriving, nationally recognized organization with close to300 foundation and United Way members and affiliates in Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, Florida and Canada.

Anne is a nationally recognized speaker, and is a leading national voice on system’s change and homelessness.She has been invited on numerous occasions to speak at the White House and worked on First Lady Michelle Obama’s Joining Forces initiative in support of veterans. She also worked with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness to develop a national strategy on youth homelessness.


Her more than 25 years working in both the corporate and non-profit sectors has given her a unique perspective on the role non-profits, governments and communities can together play in effecting and supporting an end to major social problems.


Originally from Arizona, Anne lived for much of her life in both western and central Canada. She received a BA in history and theater from the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, and her Masters of Divinity degree from the University of Toronto. She has also lived in both Spain and France.


 She is married to Robert, a concert violinist and is mother to Thomas and Eliana. She is the property of Micetro, the family cat and a writer of romance/adventure novels.
