Author Biography

Dr. Alexandra Cook is Managing Director of Dynastillion℠ (Sunburst Ventures Florida and Puerto Rico), where she leads her family’s fifty-year, three-generation single family office as a second-generation family member across Palm Beach, Portugal, and Puerto Rico, overseeing the full scope of accounting, investments, and enterprise operations for the family’s holdings.

She has been invited repeatedly into long-term and fractional leadership roles with other families, including co-head of a first-generation single family office with four internal venture capital funds and an accelerator, roughly $1 billion in combined assets; operating officer of a multi-jurisdictional private trust company spanning nearly one hundred trusts across the U.S., U.K., and Middle East; and interim executive director of a billionaire family’s private foundation deploying approximately $22 million annually.

Her earlier career includes partner-level roles in national public accounting firms and senior executive positions in organizations with revenues exceeding $4 billion, including chief financial officer and chief information officer of a major U.S. seaport and the nation’s top-ranked Foreign Trade Zone, deputy comptroller of a top-ten U.S. county government, and chief financial officer of a regional health system and health insurer with its own supporting public foundation. That work has spanned transportation and logistics, maritime, healthcare, insurance, technology, real estate, and education.

She is a licensed CPA in Florida and holds the CGMA, CFF, and FAIA designations along with the PRINCE2® Practitioner credential. She earned four degrees in business and accounting, including her Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University and her M.B.A. and dual bachelor’s degrees from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she graduated as valedictorian.

Dr. Cook has been on the accounting and finance faculty at Palm Beach Atlantic University on and off for the last thirty years, where she was named the 2025-2026 Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year by the honor society’s student chapter and she and her two sons are active alumni. She is the creator and owner of PRISM™, a five-facet strategic experiential learning system, and a Senior Executive Fellow in Applied Artificial Intelligence at The Digital Economist.

She has spoken at more than seventy invitation-only family office engagements over the past decade, including six panels at the World Economic Forum in Davos across 2025 and 2026. Her expertise centers on family office infrastructure, multi-jurisdictional tax strategy, private markets and alternatives investing, and NextGen wealth education and career development.
