Erika Gileo was the manager of two very busy real estate offices in the Toronto area when she and her business partner, the late Bill Nasby, were presented with the EXIT system in 1996.  They immediately saw the potential in Steve Morris’ Formula and made the decision to purchase the first EXIT region.  She and Bill went on to sell the first EXIT franchise and Bill sold the first EXIT property.  Erika’s previous background in accounting and legal administration eventually led to her present position as Chief Operating Officer.

 

Erika possesses the unique ability to turn the creative vision of EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Founder and Chairman, Steve Morris, into systems and processes that benefit the company’s thousands of associates across the continent.  She was the subject matter expert in the creation of the company’s core database, MEMO, which executes the functionality of the EXIT Formula, managing everything from EXIT’s complex personnel hierarchy to every real estate transaction at the brokerage level. Erika’s touch can be felt in every department, from accounting and legal, and from the company’s annual convention to franchise and agent support, and beyond.  Erika leads by example, mentoring leaders within the organization with several VPs and Managers reporting directly to her. 

 

In 2011 Erika won a Stevie® Award in the category of Executive of the Year – Real Estate at the International Business Awards®.  The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business.

 

In 2024, Erika continues to work closely with Mr. Morris and Co-Chair, Tami Bonnell, to provide the very best in systems and services to EXIT Associates across the continent for the benefit of their clients.
