Jodi Gaines
Jodi Gaines is a distinguished leader with 35 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She began her career as a claims clerk at Anchor Mortgage, rapidly advancing through management to become Assistant Vice President and Officer at North American Mortgage Company. In 2002, Gaines co-founded Claims Recovery Financial Services (CRFS), a prominent investor and government claim services provider, which she initially established from her kitchen table. Under her leadership, CRFS grew to become an industry leader, employing over 600 individuals.
In 2019, Gaines joined Insight One Solutions as Chief Client Officer, Executive Vice President of Business Development, and Government Relations. In February 2024, she returned to CRFS as CEO and Owner, further solidifying her role as a pivotal figure in the industry.
Gaines has been recognized for her contributions with several prestigious awards, including the Orleans County Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013, the Boy Scouts of America Iroquois Trail Council “distinguished citizen award in 2014, the James L. Bopp Service Award in 2022, and the Five Star Women in Housing Laurie A. Maggiano Legacy Award in 2023.
She is an established advocate in the mortgage servicing industry, actively contributing to various trade and community organizations. Gaines serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Loan Administration Committee and has been an executive board member and past president of the New York Mortgage Bankers Association. Gaines is co-chair of the NYMBA membership committee, Chair of the NYMBA communications committee, and also serves on the NYMBA Loan Servicing Committee. Additionally, she is involved in local nonprofits, including serving as President of the United Way of Orleans County and Secretary at Holy Family Parish.
