Maria Moskver is a seasoned executive, legal strategist, and technology leader with close to 30 years of experience in financial services, fintech, and compliance. As CEO of Cloudvirga, a Stewart (NYSE: STC)-owned provider of intelligent point-of-sale mortgage technology, Maria is guiding the company into a bold new era centered on helping lenders build customer-first cultures through more personalized, empowering borrower experiences.

Maria has been instrumental in charting Cloudvirga’s course since joining in 2019 as chief legal officer. She helped steer the company through its acquisition by Stewart in 2021 and was appointed COO that same year before stepping into the CEO role in 2022. Her leadership has been pivotal in reshaping Cloudvirga’s strategic direction and product evolution, positioning the firm as a transformative force in mortgage technology.

Prior to Cloudvirga, Maria held executive leadership roles at Covius, a provider of risk management and compliance services to the financial services industry; Statebridge Company, a specialty mortgage servicer; and Murrayhill Company, a pioneer in independent surveillance for RMBS investors. Across these roles, she built a reputation for navigating complex regulatory landscapes while delivering operational excellence.

Named among HousingWire’s 2023 Vanguards and recognized in Inman’s Best of Finance 2023–2025 amongst other awards, Maria is a respected voice at the intersection of compliance, technology, and innovation. She is a frequent speaker on topics including digital transformation and the evolving role of AI in lending, specifically focused on the consumer experience.

Maria served as chair of the California Mortgage Bankers Association Legal Issues Committee and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Technology Working Group. She also co-chairs the Octane Women Leaders Board and actively mentors emerging professionals in tech, legal and compliance leadership. Maria holds a JD and an MBA from the University of Denver and is a licensed attorney in Colorado.
