Meet the real “Olivia Pope.”


Ms. Morton is a veteran Private Detective and Fixer with over 25- years of experience, a Certified OSHA 30 Compliance Officer, and a Human Trafficking Recovery Agent. As a Private Detective over the course of her distinguished career, she has conducted more than 8,000 investigations, 1,000 surveillances, and led over 50 human trafficking recovery operations—helping to recover more than 5,000 men, women and children. She has also conducted extensive due-diligence investigations involving client assets totaling more than $30 billion.


She is a highly sought-after international speaker, having lectured in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Seattle, Toronto, London, Dubai, and Vancouver.


Ms. Morton is the President and Owner of K.N.O.W. LLC Sports & Entertainment Group, a 20 plus year premier concierge investigative firm serving the NFL, NBA, MLB, A-list celebrities, highnet-worth individuals, family offices, dignitaries, and the global entertainment community. She is also the Owner of Vanguard International, a risk management and insurance claims investigation firm providing services in homicide, missing people, arson, property and casualty, and workers compensation investigations. Her clients include leading national and global insurance carriers such as MetLife, State Farm, Nationwide, USAA, Allstate, Aetna, Cigna, Safeco, Tokyo Marine, and numerous city, state, federal, and government agencies.
 

Ms. Morton spent five years as a consultant to the entertainment division of Mid-America Capital, a multi-billion-dollar venture capital firm, where she helped raise over $350 million in angel, private, and equity financing for domestic and international independent films.


Her company was selected by the Georgia Governor’s Office as a top female-owned business, and she is an alumna of the prestigious Governor’s Mentor-Protégé Program. She also completed Ted Turner’s Emerging Leaders Executive Program.

 

In entertainment, Ms. Morton serves as Co-Executive Producer at MMG, LLC, a film and television development company with over 20 years of experience working with hundreds of writers, directors and producers packaging films, documentaries, and series for theatrical and digital distribution.


She is an on-air crime expert commentator for Jupiter Entertainment’s Sins of the City, Fatal Attraction, PAYBACK, For My Man, and Celebrity Crime Files on TV One. In 2027, she will break new ground as the first Black female private detective featured in a major investigative true-crime television series focused on missing and trafficked women.


Ms. Morton studied Criminal Justice at The Ohio State University, with a minor in Psychology. Her expertise in investigations, crisis response, and risk management has led her to serve as a trusted consultant to numerous city, state, and national governmental agencies.


Her honors include the NAWRB Leadership Award for Human Trafficking Advocacy, recognition as one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs in the U.S. by Success Sisters Magazine and being named one of the World’s Greatest Women !


A certified Life Coach and Life Strategist, Ms. Morton, serves on the boards of multiple entertainment studios and networks. She is currently working with county officials to launch “The Morton Legacy Center, Inc”, www.thelegacyctr.org a 42,000-square-foot, resource and 40-unit supportive housing facility for survivors of human trafficking, slated to open in 2027. She splits her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles.
