Stefanie Layton is Vice President of Investor Relations and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) at Offerpad, a leading tech-enabled platform that provides customers with a one-stop shop of residential real estate solutions. Stefanie joined Offerpad in August of 2021 with a mission to help drive business and shareholder value by shaping the company’s three pillars of sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance, while also building positive relationships with institutional investors, industry analysts and industry non-profits.

She has been instrumental in establishing Offerpad’s Environmental, Social and Governance Program and publishing the company’s first ESG website. She’s also played a key role in the company’s support of affordable housing initiatives by helping build relationships with non-profits such as NeighborWorks America and Trellis as well as becoming a member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee and Freddie Mac Affordable Housing Advisory Council. As part of Offerpad’s ESG program, Stefanie spearheaded the Employee Volunteer Program, which has accumulated more than 1,000 volunteer hours to date. She also helped create Offerpad’s Community Giving Impact Guidelines to help employees across 28 U.S. markets and more than 1,800 cities identify volunteer opportunities that align to the goals of Offerpad’s ESG program.

Most recently, Offerpad’s St. Louis team used their Volunteer Time Off to help build a playground for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis. As the leader of Offerpad’s Social Impact Committee and ESG Task Force, Stefanie has inspired others across the company to build partnerships with organizations such as the National Forest Foundation (NFF) and the City of Chandler. In April, Offerpad announced it would plant a tree for each home it buys and sells through the end of the year. Offerpad also adopted Centennial Park in Chandler, Ariz., which employees clean and maintain through monthly volunteer events.  Stefanie expanded Offerpad’s culture of giving by empowering team members to engage, increasing the company’s collective positive impact on its communities.

Prior to joining the Offerpad team, Stefanie spent 11 years at Pinnacle West Capital Corporation in a variety of roles including her most recent as the Director, Investor Relations. Previously, Stefanie worked as a Corporate and Securities Attorney at Snell & Wilmer.  She received her law degree from Arizona State University and her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona.

Stefanie’s passion has always been giving back to the community and supporting programs that foster healthy families and help educate the next generation. She does that through her work with several foundations and non-profits across the state. She currently serves as a board member for the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing women with essential support services like social work, family law support and mentoring to effect positive change for women. She also serves on the board for Southwest Human Development, a foundation that provides early childhood development services for children across Arizona. Stefanie has previously served on the board of Ballet Arizona and spent 10 years volunteering as a 5th Grade Junior Achievement Teacher.
